Day 1 - Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization
Upon arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, you will be received and transferred to your hotel. Since Leh is situated at a high altitude, complete rest is essential for proper acclimatization. Spend the day relaxing at the hotel and avoid any physical exertion. In the evening, you may take a short and easy walk nearby if you feel comfortable. Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2 - Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Leh. Visit the peaceful Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of the city, followed by the historic Leh Palace. Continue to the Hall of Fame, a museum maintained by the Indian Army. Later, experience the unique phenomenon at Magnetic Hill and visit the revered Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Return to Leh by evening, explore the local market at leisure, and enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 - Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Post breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley via the famous Khardung La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Enjoy breathtaking views enroute as you descend into the scenic Nubra Valley. Upon arrival, visit the iconic Diskit Monastery and later head to the unique Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can opt for a double-hump camel ride. Dinner and overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel or camp in Nubra Valley.
Day 4 - Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
After breakfast, proceed towards the mesmerizing Pangong Lake, traveling through remote mountain routes and picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival, witness the stunning beauty of the lake, known for its ever-changing shades of blue. Spend your time relaxing by the lakeside and capturing unforgettable moments. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a camp or cottage near Pangong Lake.
Day 5 - Pangong Lake to Leh
Wake up early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise over Pangong Lake, followed by breakfast at the camp. Later, begin your journey back to Leh via Chang La Pass, enjoying scenic views throughout the drive. Upon arrival in Leh, check into your hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Leh.
Day 6 - Departure from Leh
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport for your onward journey, taking back wonderful memories of your Ladakh trip.
